Imran Mohammed, MD, is a pulmonologist, critical care, and sleep medicine specialist practicing at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Roseville, California. He’s always been passionate about helping people and now provides multilingual care to patients experiencing pulmonary concerns and critical care issues. Patients and colleagues alike enjoy his practical approach and distinctive sense of humor.
Dr. Mohammed completed his medical graduation and internship at Stanley Medical College and Hospital in Tamil Nadu, India. He then moved stateside to complete a mini-residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Heart Institute in Miami Beach, Florida. Following this, he completed four years of postgraduate training in internal medicine at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was chief resident there during his fourth and final year before completing a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Dr. Mohammed has earned multiple awards throughout his education and career, which demonstrate his expertise. He’s a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Subspecialty Board of Pulmonary Medicine, and the Subspecialty Board of Critical Care Medicine. He’s also an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American College of Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, the American Medical Association, and the California Medical Association.
At Pulmonary Medicine Associates, Dr. Mohammed provides interventional and diagnostic bronchoscopies and other technologically advanced services to help patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sleep apnea, lung infections, cancer, and other life-altering conditions.
Outside of work, Dr. Mohammed spends most of his time with his wife and daughter. The family enjoys traveling, skiing, and tennis.
