Meryl Perez, MD, is a board-certified physician at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Roseville, California. She joined the team in 2015, and she specializes in infectious diseases.
Dr. Perez earned her dual Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas. She attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated with her Doctor of Medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Perez completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento before beginning her work in private practice.
Dr. Perez is a diplomate with the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty Board of Infectious Disease. She works with adult patients of all ages to diagnose and treat infectious diseases, helping them enjoy better health in their daily lives.
Alongside her work at Pulmonary Medicine Associates, Dr. Perez is active in the medical community. She is an assistant clinical professor at UC Davis Medical Center, Division of Infectious Diseases, and a member of the Infectious Diseases Society of America, Northern California Infectious Disease Society, and the Greater Sacramento Epidemiology Association.
On the weekends, Dr. Perez enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all Northern California offers.
