Ranjani Kalyan, MD, is an infectious disease and wound care specialist at Pulmonary Medicine Associates in Roseville, California. She’s fascinated with infectious diseases and has a passion for managing and resolving them in her own community. She routinely treats complex cases of post-operative infections, endocarditis, osteomyelitis, and staph infections using personalized treatments.
Dr. Kalyan attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, for her undergraduate education before earning her medical degree from Ross University of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. She was chief resident during her final year and went on to complete a fellowship in infectious diseases at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.
Throughout her education and career, Dr. Kaylan has earned numerous awards for her exceptional research, leadership, and humanitarianism. She’s a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Subspecialty Board of Infectious Disease. She also holds memberships in the Infectious Diseases Society of America and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Kalyan values her position on the team at Pulmonary Medicine Associates and is continuously fascinated by uncommon diseases and their treatments. Outside of work, she spends her free time playing sports with her children, attending comedy shows, cooking ethnic foods, and dabbling in classical Indian music and dance.
