Dr. Abduljabbar Dheyab, MD, MBChB, FACP, FCCP, is a pulmonary and critical care physician with extensive training and experience in the care of adults with complex respiratory and critical illnesses. He completed his medical education at Anbar University College of Medicine in Iraq and went on to complete residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He then completed fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, followed by advanced training in interventional pulmonology, including endobronchial ultrasound–guided procedures.

Dr. Dheyab has held academic and clinical appointments at major medical centers, including Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the University of Massachusetts, where he has been involved in clinical care, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives. His clinical work spans both academic and community hospital settings, with a focus on thoughtful, evidence-based care and clear communication with patients and families.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Dheyab has participated in clinical research and global health initiatives and maintains an interest in the thoughtful use of technology and innovation in healthcare.
