Brett R. Laurence, MD, began his medical career by obtaining a Doctor of Medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Prior to this, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Laurence completed his Internal Medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, eventually becoming Chief Resident in Internal Medicine. He further specialized in Infectious Diseases through a fellowship at Temple University Hospital.

When not overseeing infectious disease cases at Pulmonary Medicine Associates, Dr. Laurence indulges in outdoor adventures in the vicinity of Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and Napa Valley, California. His leisure hours are largely devoted to family time, soccer games and travel.
