He completed a fellowship in Critical Care at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, New York, preceded by a tenure as Chief Fellow in Pulmonary Medicine at New York Methodist Hospital. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Resident and completed his Internship and Residency at the same institution. Dr. Aurangzeb's medical journey began at Aga Khan University Faculty of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan, where he earned his MD. His educational foundation was laid during his undergraduate years at Air Force College in Islamabad, Pakistan.
