Imran Aurangzeb, MD, FCCP, is a Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Specialist at Pulmonary Medicine Associates. Dr. Aurangzeb joined PMA in 2006, providing outstanding care and seeing patients at their Sacramento, California, office.

His education and undergraduate studies began at Air Force College in Islamabad, Pakistan, followed by his MD at Aga Khan University Faculty of Health Sciences in Karachi, Pakistan. 

He completed an Internship and Residency at New York Methodist Hospital in New York City, New York, serving as Chief Resident and Chief Fellow – Pulmonary Medicine. He also fulfilled a Fellowship – Critical Care at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, New York.

Dr. Aurangzeb graduated with Honors from medical school and has received other awards, including Best Teaching Resident at New York Methodist Hospital. He also received the George C. Lewnes, M.D. Memorial Award for the Original Scientific Paper of the Year.
