Kapil Dhawan, MD, has embarked on a comprehensive medical journey focusing on pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine. He pursued fellowship training in Pulmonary Critical Care at Ohio State University Department of Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, followed by additional fellowship training in Sleep Medicine at the University of Florida, Department of Pulmonary Critical Care & Sleep Medicine in Gainesville, Florida. Prior to his fellowships, Dr. Dhawan completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Florida, Department of Internal Medicine, also in Gainesville, Florida. His medical education began at the University of West Indies School of Medicine in St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago, laying the foundation for his distinguished career in medicine. Through his specialized training and dedication to patient care, Dr. Dhawan has emerged as a skilled practitioner in the fields of pulmonary critical care and sleep medicine.
