Muhammad Afzal, MD, FCCP, has undergone a comprehensive medical journey that spans multiple continents and specialties. He enriched his research and clinical skills through a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California Davis in Davis, California. Before this, Dr. Afzal completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and Saint Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by an internship at the same institutions. His journey continued with senior residency training in Anesthesiology at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, and further residency training in Anesthesiology at Bahawal Victoria Hospital in Bahawalpur, Pakistan. Dr. Afzal's medical education began at Quaid-I-Azam Medical College in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, where he earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B., B.S.) degree. Through his diverse experiences and rigorous training, Dr. Afzal has developed into a skilled and knowledgeable physician capable of providing comprehensive care across various medical disciplines.
