About the Physician

Richard DeFelice, MD, MPH is an experienced physician specializing in pulmonary disease, infectious disease, and critical care medicine. He has participated in numerous clinical trials for the treatment of pulmonary and infectious diseases.  He is a frequent lecturer to the Dignity Health Family Practice Residency program and other physician groups on a variety of topics.

When he is not working (he is a fixture at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento), He enjoys spending time with his wife, four “great kids” and two grandchildren. Dr. DeFelice enjoys international travel and is an avid golfer. He also enjoys reading and politics.
